Why should this appeal be considered?: okay so i know what i said was messed up and i really am sorry about it i didn’t mean for it to come out like that or for anyone to feel hurt or uncomfortable because of what i said i honestly thought i was just joking around but now i can clearly see that it was a dumb thing to say and not funny at all i get that words have weight and what we say can actually affect people more than we realize and i take full responsibility for that mistake i know i should’ve thought before speaking and been more aware of how my words could sound to others i’ve spent time thinking about it and i understand now that what i did was wrong i want to make sure that from now on i speak with more care and respect because everyone deserves to feel safe and respected both online and in real life i really do appreciate the people who called me out because it helped me realize how serious it was i know saying sorry isn’t enough and that trust doesn’t come back just because of words but i want to prove over time that i actually mean this and that i’ve learned from it i’ll do my best to be more thoughtful kind and understanding in the future so again i’m really sorry for what i said and i hope to show through my actions that i can do better and be better
