Why were you punished?: 4.1 - As an officer, the user responded to a situation where he was attacked by two individuals, with a bystander watching the situation. After the officer was revived and all suspects were in cuffs, alongside the bystander, the officer elongated the situation for 14 additional minutes prior to the arresting the bystander for 6.8, 6.9, 9.1, 9.5, 9.8, giving them maximum sentence and ticket. The user lied by saying the bystander killed them with a bat when in reality they had no involvement with the situation. The user does not seem to understand where they went wrong.
Why should this appeal be considered?: I am writing to sincerely apologise for my recent actions on the server. I completely understand why I was banned, and I take full responsibility for my behaviour.
Lately, I have been dealing with some severe personal challenges. My mum has been very ill, which has caused me a lot of outside stress and has heavily impacted my concentration and mood. Unfortunately, I let my real-life frustrations and depression affect how I treat others on the server. I reacted with anger and disrupted others's RP experience, which I understand is wrong,
Since the ban, I have been actively working with my therapist on positive coping mechanisms to better manage my stress and improve my concentration. Additionally, I have used this time away to thoroughly go over the rules and PD laws to ensure I fully understand them.
This server means a lot to me and has always been a positive example for my self-esteem. I am not demanding an immediate unban, but I wanted to share my perspective and reassure you that I am committed to being a positive, rule abiding member of the community moving forward. I promise to change my behaviour, try to be a better player, and truly thrive in the coming days on Perpheads and on PLPD.
