Why should this appeal be considered?: So, I don't really know where to start, i'm not sure if I should be making a dispute or an apology but here I am.
I got on the server to be met with a fast F6 from phoondos, claiming to have solid evidence of me metagaming.
So there’s a few things, I disconnected and Gorgan (HDArcade) said the building went for sale and he didn’t know what to do as he doesn’t base, I advised him to go to the bank to buy it, I went to sleep and simply just advised him on what to do.
The next day I asked him if he got my seeds for himself or not as I disconnected that night and we didn't speak until the next day and I was just curious on an update, not intending to get the seeds back.
Then I was presented with a screen shot of me saying "They ran Lesley over" but I also sent a clip to Gorgan of the incident as I found it funny (I attached the same clip)
. It was just me living a funny moment with my friend that I wanted to share.
Then I saw a screenshot of me telling Gorgan that "I had killed one", and I asked him if he killed anybody else as he was directly behind me and I was curious on the outcome of the situation. Gorgan decided to leave, along with Carrot as we had just raided the bank and Carrot had half the money, so they took off to Bazaar after witnessing us all die. Gorgan already knew there was people inside the base, I have attached the clip of said incident, Gorgan is dressed in purple with white hair and glasses. (

I understand now that even if nothing came of the conversations and nobody acted on the info, it was still wrong of me to talk about in-game events through Steam chat. At the time, I thought it was just casual discussion and didn’t think it would count as metagaming, but I now realize that all IC communication needs to stay strictly in-character, regardless of intent or outcome. I take full responsibility for that and will make sure it doesn’t happen again.
I am making this apology to get my further point across, I now recognize that even sharing in-game clips or talking about IC events through OOC means even if no advantage was gained can still be considered metagaming under the rules. I accept that this was a lapse in judgment and not in line with the expectations of the community. I’m committed to avoiding this entirely going forward and will keep all IC discussions strictly in character. I had no intention of Metagaming and was fully under the impression talking about things afterwards was okay. I believe there was even a screenshot in the pile of evidence of me saying to Gorgan "tell him to tell you IC next time", so my understanding of metagame was completely off and I now realise that.
