Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Draxen
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 1 Month

Your Steam Name: Helga-Mae
Your Roleplay Name: Helga-Mae Jones
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:860476558

Why were you punished?: becasue i didnt comply for 3 seconds

Why should this appeal be considered?: i genuinly think this is unfair down to how police ruin the RP, i stole a car, and instead of using spikes and other non lethals, cops are resorting to using a gun to end chases simply by saying " your under gunpoint" knowing the person has to stop or they break 3.4 how is that Rp? are we not trained as police to use other means? while i may not of complied for 3 seconds, but if this is how the police RP is going then is just pointless stealing cars,

i never make a dispute on a ban, but i feel like the RP goes out the damn window with some of these cops who just decide to gunpoint and staff saying they can do so, so why have a police policy? if they can jus end any chase they want by having us enter a 3.4 situation with a gunpoint that wasnt needed

clearly i understand 3.4 and that even the seconds count, but if they didnt take advantage of the use of 3.4 and gunppoint me after id commited no serious crime for it, just shows how cops are using 3.4 just to end chases, i wasnt even armed and i did comply with them after a few seconds, they was makign me annoyed the fact ythey chose to gunpoint me rather than spike me its a mini cooper not mclaren P1

We don't /me places handcuffs or /me spikes on this server, what do you mean? This is how car thefts play out here; you have been playing long enough to know this.

cops are resorting to using a gun to end chases simply by saying " your under gunpoint"
If you are acquainted with the department policies, you would know that police are allowed to stop suspects from fleeing, especially in vehicle related incidents, by pointing a firearm to establish control, this obviously allows for as efficient apprehension as possible, why would I spike a stolen car and cause further damage when I can already apprehend you through gun pointing?

clearly i understand 3.4 and that even the seconds count, but if they didnt take advantage of the use of 3.4 and gunppoint me after id commited no serious crime for it, just shows how cops are using 3.4 just to end chases
By no means do I PERSONALLY believe this invalidates your ban

I just stole a car on the server myself today and got gun pointed out of it, why because adhering to 3.4 and fearing for your life is a part of the roleplaying as well

Regardless of the outcome I wanted to share my thoughts. Good luck!

If you felt that the officer in question used excessive force during the RP situation then the correct course of action would have been to comply with gunpoint and later make an Internal Affairs complaint. Disregarding the server rules because you believe another party is also breaking rules or PD policies is not okay.
