Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Headline
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 1 Week

Your Steam Name: Deshawn Tyson
Your Roleplay Name: Deshawn Tyson
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:113138281

Why were you punished?: User failed to comply whilst under gunpoint and ran towards cover when he was already under gunpoint.

Why should this appeal be considered?: In this situation we were raiding farm, this person was either countering or flanking. In order to run this person i drove my car into forest and hit a tree by accident. Since hitting your car makes you dizzy, i thought the person was close enough to gp me out of my car (he wasn't) so i got out of my car; but even doing so, i tried to park my car directed to the left in order to get out of the car and take cover.

Playing like 9 years on the server and recieving a ton of punishment (experience imo) i was certain that if you got GP'd, and were close to a corner or a prop, could take cover or turn a corner in order to get away from the line of sight and dismiss GP. That is what i was told in every situation like this. Also, in a hostage situation in hungriges the other day i was the hostage and did the exact same thing, ran 2 corners and got out of the line of sight of the intruder to reach the cops waiting at the door. That situation was also spactated by a staff member, we talked about the situation through an f6, and nothing happened because i had a pretty good chance of escaping. The reason i told you this story is because these kind of situations happen all the time at places with clearer sights. I'm sure at least once you have tried to GP someone from the balcony of big sub houses, or even small sub houses, and you have encountered with people moving a little bit to the side and taking cover dismissing your GP. All these situations where GP is being dismissed must have include a sence of realism as we all know. And there is not a better place to do this than the forest. Especially if you have an extra prop to protect you (my car).

In this situation; we are in the woods and in itself, it is already a place where your view is almost totally blocked by trees so it is hard to GP someone. Also, im beside my car which is an extra layer of protection for me, as well as being an easily accessible cover. I think i had a pretty good chance of getting out of the line of sight of the other player and i took it. Which ended up, me killing the guy and didn't result in my death. I also have to note that, while taking these decisions, my character is dizzy and it is hard for me to see what's going on around me in forest. I believe my actions were reasonable.

Additional Information: Thank you for your time.
