Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @@HuskyD0G
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 4 Days

Your Steam Name: Sorle
Your Roleplay Name: Blippy Kosherberg
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:51990442

Why were you punished?: 3.4, 1.6 - Stalled under gunpoint in a vehicle, then lied in the report opened with them

Why should this appeal be considered?: 3.4 - I initially readjusted my vehicle in order to try to drive away, I pressed the accelerator as I was told to get out. I then backed up my vehicle in a panic - as I was PROCESSING THE SITUATION, then said "Okay" and got out - understanding I was under gunpoint.

This happened over the course of FIVE SECONDS. I was gunpointed at 0:05 initially, said "Okay" acknowledging the commands given AND ATTEMPTED TO EXIT THE VEHICLE at 0:08 - making it THREE SECONDS by which I acknowledged and attempted to follow the commands given.

I followed his orders - he then walked around my vehicle breaking the gunpoint at which point I shot him. Tyrone did not get out in these five seconds, he got out when I got out. I did not "create any time" for him to do anything - I was simply REPROCESSING THE SITUATION as I needed to adjust my plans knowing I could no longer escape when the gun was pointed at me.

I was "stalling" for FIVE SECONDS as my plans got changed and I took a moment to recalibrate. I was overwhelmed at the time with noise on TeamSpeak and from the officer AND having to process a changing situation - anyone who knows me knows I get easily overwhelmed. My escape plan from before I was told to do anything didn't work, therefore I complied with gunpoint and got out.

1.6 - I MISREMEMBERED THE SITUATION? I then sent a clip and was apologetic about the fact that I misremembered the situation - please if I was intentionally lying tell me why I WOULD SEND MY POV? I KNEW I COULD NOT GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE - I STILL DO NOT KNOW WHY. I was pressing E while reversing the whole time - no way to show this but I was and I didn't get out. I didn't get the prompt but I wasn't getting out when I pressed E. I have no clue how this is being seen as me maliciously lying - I pressed E and I did not get out of the vehicle. I reversed for a second, while pressing E. I then could get out of the vehicle.

I think this has happened to everyone before - YOU SOMETIMES DO NOT EXIT YOUR VEHICLE WHEN YOU PRESS E. IT JUST HAPPENS. I reversed in a panic hoping it would allow me to get out of the vehicle and comply. What of this did I lie about?

FIVE SECONDS is not a lot of time. I did not "stall" - I was simply dealing with a changing situation and got out when I gathered my thoughts clearly and understood what was going on. THIS DID NOT CHANGE THE SITUATION. The officer died DUE TO HIS OWN FAILURES.

Additional Information: This is just an insane nitpick which I cannot bring myself to understand. The staff member has failed entirely to even try for a second to understand my decisions or put himself in my shoes. I was in a very stressful situation and took FIVE SECONDS to get out of a vehicle - WHICH I WAS TRYING TO GET OUT OF SOONER THAN THAT BUT COULDN'T.

I don't think anyone with a shred of reason can look at these actions and look at my train of thinking and think for a second that these were done with a disregard for the rules. I understood that I was gunpointed and got out of the vehicle.

Worth noting, the staff member in question is actively mocking the situation & showing a genuine disregard for what I'm saying. Not a single shred of professionalism and essentially proving my idea that he is going out of his way to not see it from my point of view.

After careful deliberation, we have decided to give you the benefit of the doubt for the 1.6 as we don't believe you had given the false information with malicious intent however the 3.4 portion of the punishment was found to be valid. If you disagree with the punishment issued then it is recommended that you make a staff complaint. Just do me a favour and try not to call staff names such as "fool" in reports.
