Why were you punished?: 3.4 - User killed police as a defender of a raid because he wanted the raider's gun.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I have been told many times before that this is allowed and i have experienced myself as a cop that the defenders have done the same but instead of doing it for the gun and because they finished them off they did it only for the gun. The mod also forgot to add, even though i said in report, i finished off the raider, which i would have gotten arrested for 9.5.

From the clips provided, including your own, it is clear to see that killing the officers in this scenario was not a necessity by any reasonable standard. It was something that you chose to do which put your life at risk. Killing officers solely to protect and keep a singular weapon, which was not even yours to begin with, is not considered a valid or reasonable excuse. At no point was your life in imminent danger, nor were officers preparing to initiate a breach unless a raiders weapon wasn't provided, which is rightfully so for them to do.

The situation was unnecessarily escalated by yourself and would've been easily preventable to give over the weapon in question, I would also like to stress to you a possible option that you could have taken to de-escalate the situation further, by handing the officers a different weapon that may be cheaper than the weapon in question.

This is something that doesn't occur occasionally, it is a regular occurrence that raiders are accidentally finished off. There isn't a singular way to find out whether a raider was finished purposefully unless it was witnessed, with the DNA tool it only provides you specifics within the data it provides; a name, weapon used and an image of the killer, therefore, there would be no way to prove whether somebody was finished off purposefully, unless it was witnessed.

The 3.4 ban is deemed valid
