Why were you punished?: "racist"
Why should this appeal be considered?: Subject: Formal Ban Appeal – Contextual Review Request
Dear PerpHeads Administration,
First off, A1L I don't get the fact that you tell me 'i'm a joke" I find this verry unprofessional of the what is called a "ADMINISTRATOR". First off, the staff involved didn't even show me proof of me saying something "racist" secondly I get instand denied without even hearing my side of the story. I would like a fair review of this punishment.
I respectfully submit this formal appeal regarding my ban, which was issued post-disconnection on the grounds of an alleged racist remark. I sincerely apologize if any statements I made were perceived as offensive, and I fully recognize the importance of upholding community standards. However, I request a review of the decision based on the following legal and procedural considerations:
1. Roleplay Context & Character Separation
PerpHeads operates under serious roleplay principles (PerpHeads Rule §2.5 & §3.4), where character interactions are meant to reflect real-world social dynamics. Under the principle of character separation (cf. Article 10 ECHR – Freedom of Expression in Contextual Settings), in-game speech should not automatically be equated to a player’s real-world intent unless it is explicitly OOC.
2. Procedural Fairness & Post-Disconnection Enforcement
The issuance of a ban after I had already left the server raises concerns under PerpHeads Rule §1.2 (Fair Punishment) and general legal principles of due process (Article 6 ECHR – Right to a Fair Hearing). In administrative enforcement, sanctions should be proportional and based on immediate contextual assessment, ensuring the accused has a chance to clarify intent before punitive action is taken (cf. UK Administrative Law – Procedural Fairness Doctrine).
3. Request for Unban & Commitment to Compliance
Given the retrospective nature of the ban and the roleplay context, I kindly request an unban or alternative resolution. I fully acknowledge the importance of maintaining an inclusive environment and will take extra care to ensure that my roleplay remains within server guidelines.
I sincerely appreciate your time in reviewing my appeal and apologize for any misunderstanding. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Jossyl & Tazmani Alqaheed
