Why were you punished?: I shot a guy inside a active crime scene at bank
Why should this appeal be considered?: I want to apologize for the situation. It wasn’t my intention to break any rules or to RDM. In the middle of the bank robbery I thought I was doing the right thing with the information I had. I understand now that the person I shot didn’t have a gun out, and I see how it came across wrong. At the same time, I feel like a warning or an infraction would have been more appropriate than a full demotion, since my goal was only to secure the crime scene and act as an officer. I respect the staff and the rules, but I hope this appeal can be considered so I can prove myself again.
