I paid to much for my car repair

So it was almost 3 am and i was a bit tired and drove without attention to the road.
I crash my car but nothing to do about besides just pay the 31200$ for the repair.
But the problem is my car is not only rekt its totaly destroyed like if it got car bombed or burned in a fire, even my tires are popped.
Instead of 31k + 3k for the car wash. Then for some reason i have to pay 78k.
It seems a bit weird sinces it was a normal car crash.

In addition to what walker said it's probably due to the high speed or it maybe already being slightly damaged, also there's nothing we can do about it since it's the way the cars work in PERP.
