Is this a new law or a change to a current law: A new law
What law do you wish to change/add:
Section 1: Terminology
Government-issued identification refers to any official identity document issued and standardised by the government, of which must at least include one's full name, date of birth, place of birth, and picture. Documents must be kept up to date.
Section 1: Terminology
Paralake City Identity Card refers to the official identity document issued to every citizen of Paralake City immediately upon their arrival.
Why should this change/addition be made: As right now, people's idea of identification comes in many ways. Some simply state their name, this being uncredible for look-alikes and fairly unprofessional to accept without any further investigation. Others provide their 'ID', which isn't elaborated at all in any way in the law book. Therefore, having laws stating that one must have identification when operating a vehicle seems much more realistic in an Amercian-esque environment, where, in most countries, it is required (or at least required to be presented within 7 days).
What is the aim of this change/addition: To clear up any confusion regarding the state of our identification system as well as to help officers and citizens alike have reasons of doubt when a fake name is given.
EDIT: Removed 12.16 addition due to it being redundant. Was mainly just a branch-off from the terminology.
