Suggestion Title: comically secure cars
Suggestion Description: Cars with car security upgrades should not be impenetrable to theft. Rather, it should be hard to steal just like Chop Shop Hard missions where it has a tracker on it but obviously no drop off.
To signal that the tracker has been disabled after the time of theft, a sound of something powering down should play to indicate this for the thief as normally in Chop you'd be texted that the tracker is off via the drop off text.
Why should this be added?:
- Remove powergaming where a $500 item makes your car more secure than the bank vault!
- Make security upgrades a fair upgrade
- Shouldn't be too much work as the Tracker feature is already in operation for Chop
- Simple, yet effective, idea for allowing car theft on player owned vehicles in a balanced way.
- RTU, PLPD in general along with criminals get more enjoyability out of car-theft as it can involve trackers without it necessarily being chop shop.
What negatives could this have?:
- None!
What problem would this suggestion solve?: I don't believe this car security "upgrade" would be added as it currently is to PERP had it not already been part of PERP before the resurgence of the gamemode. The current $500 item is by definition powergaming and is a inappropriate tool for the roleplay that goes on in PERP as well as a means for RP denial.
