Suggestion Title: Fire Department stop lights
Suggestion Description: Add button-controlled traffic signals to the road upon which fire department vehicles emerge. These stoplights warn traffic in both directions that a truck is about to turn out in front of them. Activating the button from within the Fire Department delays a few seconds, before setting the lights to red. After about 5 seconds, the red light begins flashing, indicating that vehicles may proceed after stopping. Some seconds more, and the lights reset to green.
The button would have a sixty-second cooldown between activations.
There used to be traffic lights in this exact place on Paralake V1 however they were never functional and got removed. An additional feature could be an alarm bell within the Fire Department that sounds when the button has been activated. A video to a real example is here.
Why should this be added?:
Reduces collisions/fatalities with civilian and emergency vehicles
This potentially allows for more consistent Fire Department response times
A novel and realistic feature unique to Paralake showing acknowledgement for the Fire Department
Lets firefighters leave the building and rush to the scene of a fire in a convoy, which is fun
What negatives could this have?:
Minor potential for misuse, but it is unlikely and causes little to no disruption compared to other firefighter activities (ramming your truck into a crowd or hacking people to death with an axe)
What problem would this suggestion solve?: Collisions with vehicles from fire trucks exiting the building, catharsis for a feature that was kinda half-implemented in V1
