Solution
Buy a Stove from the furniture shop in Uncle Cos (right NPC) at the City District. Left click the stove to drop it as a prop.
Drop your fish with right click on the stove, they will automatically cook within 2-3 minutes or so. You can overcook them so don't wait for too long, they will change to a darker colour once. That's when you know they're ready.
