Don’t start drugs until you have org mates, several assault rifles, Large SMGS (MP5A4, MP5/10, Or UMP45), and combat shotguns (Mossberg 590, Benelli M3, and SPAS 12), and enough magazines and ammo for those guns to least you roughly 10 shootouts. Alongside this, ensure you have barricades and fences (both metal and wooden for windows) before growing. Countless times I’ve raided a base only to see even experienced players defending planters and drugs they sank every last Penny into with a double barrelled shotgun or M9 from behind a TV and a piano.
I suggest:
- Playing medic or fireman to not only learn the map and game mechanics but to get enough money to sustain yourself. Try get these jobs when a mayor has maxed out their pay check.
- Use that map experience to play roadcrew or police.
Once you’ve earned around 400k, buy, craft or otherwise acquire:
- 2 basic planter boxes (crafted, try asking people at bazaar to craft you one) Along with the attachments, such as a radiator and a light bar.
- 24 small pots, 6 acquired via uncle co’s hardware NPC. You will use 12 per planter, and these can be stolen, hence why 24 is needed.
- 20 water tanks from the fish store, Which you can fill at a fresh water source, such as city park pond, or any body of water in the forest.
- 24 Cocaine seeds from the drug dealer.
- 60 weed seeds from the drug dealer.
- A chemical table (crafted by players, ask around bazaar in shops with crafting tables down.)
- 8 propane tanks (optional for Cocaine)
- 2 cookers (acquired at uncle cos)
- 6 Pyrex dishes, you’ll only need 2 at a time.
- 2 thin metal fences, 4 thin wooden fences, 2 big wooden fences.
- 9 thin concrete barricades, 3 spotlights, and 2 metal detectors.
- 20 lye (from rc shop) and 20 newspapers (from the gas station).
- 5 house alarms to use whenever you buy a new base.
- 5 upgraded car security, so your car cannot get stolen whilst you are basing and to know for a fact that if someone tries baiting people outside by stealing your car, you know for a fact that it isn’t your car being stolen.
- Life alerts. This will alert police if you are killed, which whilst it may not save your drugs, the police responding Team will probably win the shootout deterring anyone else to try raiding it (except seasoned raiding orgs).
This will be everything you need to base and produce drugs, now onto weapons.
Usually when picking guns it’s a first come first serve basis unless you plan on making a crafting order. Ideal weapons for defending bases include:
SMGs:
- UMP45. Low recoil, High damage, but low fire rate, also has lower ammo capacity at 25 rounds instead of a usual 30.
- MP5/10: High damage per shot and fire rate, but choppier recoil than most SMGs.
- MP5A4: Low recoil, high firerate, does the same damage as an M9 would but shoots faster.
Concealable SMGs should be avoided for defending bases due to having higher recoil than the non concealable SMGs.
Rifles:
Rifle ammo, whilst technically being more expensive to buy than a single box of pistol ammo, actually has more rounds per box (60, whilst pistol has 30) meaning it’s just as cost effective.
SCAR is liked for having low recoil, but also has a lower fire rate.
M4 Is liked for having a high fire rate but high recoil, defending a doorway isn’t hard for this.
AK74U is cheap, has fair recoil and a controllable firerate.
FAMAS Is a minigun in terms of fire rate if you can control recoil.
AK47 does high damage and is controllable.
Shotguns:
- Spas 12 is an almost perfect shotgun except it doesn’t have very good sights.
- Benelli M3 is the same but the stock is fixed, and the sights are better.
- Mossberg has 9 rounds of ammo and tight spread making it a relatively easy task to get at least 5 kills with 9 rounds.
Whilst growing coke, you might be tempted to just harvest in “ready” but your first batch should always be a seeding batch. Wait for your coke to grow beyond “ready” to “flowering” then “seeding”. You’ll get a huge amount of seeds for doing this.
Once you’ve done a seeding batch, start harvesting on “ready” instead. When you’re down to 2 more batches worth of seeds left, grow another seeding batch.
When you’re drying coke leaves, grow weed.
