Suggestion Title: Improve the odds of crowbarring a door whilst at a distance
Suggestion Description: When moving away from the door the odds of opening the door should be the same or just a fraction less than when being right up to it.
Why should this be added?:
- Right now it's hard enough as it is to be a raider whilst solo raiding or even as a duo. Nearly every time I crowbar doors whilst solo raiding or duo raiding, it's just mag dump after mag dump after mag dump and the door can often take several minutes to get open. Then you have flankers and cops you have to look out for the entire time. And because every second that you have to crowbar is time you are exposed to cops and flankers. Also there is a big chance you get crippled, lit up or killed from the wallbangs.
I believe there is something wrong when the biggest danger of raiding often is just crowbarring the door. This isn't always true, but when you're 1 or 2 people and there's 2 or more players that's in the base this becomes a big issue.
Fire escape door office is not even a viable option because of how hard it is to get the door open and especially to come out alive from the wallbanging.
Slums & Projex is just everyone running up and down the stairs trying to avoid the wallbanging and you often get crippled or lit up or flanked when this happens.
The smaller subs houses is a wallbanging nightmare if you're only 1 or 2 people raiding and you have to open the bedroom.
What negatives could this have?:
- Makes it slightly harder for the defender(s) as they might actually have to take a fight where they see the enemy for once.
What problem would this suggestion solve?: Allows more fair combat instead of a wallbang battle that almost always favor the defenders and that makes raiders in small groups very exposed from flankers.
