As September comes to a close, along comes October. Throughout the month of September we saw some very pivotal changes to both the city and the department. As many of you may have already seen, Paralake V6.1 has launched, bringing with it several key changes to the city we’ve all grown used to. These changes included a more built up city and completely overhauled forest area, adding a new dynamic challenge for all Officers to navigate in the line of duty. But perhaps the most important change for Officers who are progressing is the new overhauled training area. Road Traffic Training now has a highway divider to make pursuit tactics more effective for applicants during their traffic assessment, allowing 2 and 3 car box-in manoeuvres to be executed. Furthermore, Tactical Firearms Training now has 2 relevant properties at their disposal. Rather than the V5 slums and small suburbs house, Tactical Firearms Officers will instead be tested on their ability to resolve situations based in the new Suburbs small houses and Tidal apartments, offering a far more relevant and up to date assessment. Big thanks to Sindarin and Peeps for making this possible, and TFU Command’s work in building the new defenses for their assessments.Operation #RespectTheTing, The joint campaign between Patrol & TFU reaches its final week, and entries will close on the 8th of October. Those wishing to get ahead in the campaign are on the final sprint to do so before the entrees close. The operation has widely been a success, and you can expect more joint-division campaigns in future! Even if you don’t come in the top 3, Having over 50 entries will put you in a wheelspin for a prize! You can see the current leaderboard here
Internal Affairs will be opening applications for their Investigative assistant role. Anyone looking to join internal affairs should head on over to the “careers” page! This will be a golden opportunity to join one of the most important administrative roles in our department and gain indispensable experience and knowledge within the department.

Officer of the Month - September 2025

Awarded to: Senior Officer George Cole 7938 (Ggamer)
"It is my pleasure to give the Officer of The Month award to Ggamer for the month of September. George was nominated by a handful of individuals for similar reasons. He's been put in the spotlight for his great activity & time spent coaching new officers & providing them with strong advice to harden their knowledge. Additionally, he's participated in several traffic checkpoints and has proven to be a tremendous asset to RTU. His radio communication was described as outstanding, and he was also named as one of the few active officers that actively takes up support roles in different police situations such as scene containment. I'm delighted to award him with his second OOTM award, and I hope we can see this superb performance continue!"

Police Distinguished Service

Awarded to: Lieutenant Jack Locks 5171 (Locksmith)
"It gives Internal Affairs Command great pleasure to award Lieutenant Jack Locks with a Police Distinguished Service Award, for their extensive contributions to the work of Internal Affairs. In their capacity as a Senior Investigator, Locksmith made significant strides in the training of newly inducted Investigative Assistants, ensuring that they lived the values and worked to the standards required by the division. Locksmith dealt with a large volume of complaints themselves during their tenure, always delivering investigations and final reports to an extremely high standard and consistently on-time. Locksmith has been an asset to the division; we wish them all the best in their future endeavours within the Paralake Police Department, and we are greatly saddened by their departure."
