really bad sync and hitreg, but ive got low ish ping

so i cruise around 90-130 ping, but it feels litteraly unplayable , i rubber band everywhere and lag out allot, i have ethernet , any tips on how to not suffer

(some minor lag)

Is this just on Source engine games?

If you're on powerline make sure its seated right into your wall socket and electrical interferences (like microwaves lol, even lamps can cause issues) arent fucking things up.

If your router has quality of service/packet priority set it up for your PC. Who knows if your router could be the culprit or somehow can't handle all the bandwidth in your home.

Switch out ethernet cable with CAT6 minimum, could be a faulty cable.

Please get rid of any funky .cfg's that have bad network settings, for TF2 I use mastercomfig

Try Cloudflare Warp and their DNS servers, this helped me with packet loss in Battlebit.

Mostly yes, its weird, ill try new CFG files for TF2 , idk about gmod if it will set of anticheat (jackburossfalselyacused)

To be fair , i have a downstairs pc, multiple phones, xbox and another laptop on frequently, but our wifi plan isnt that shit
