Suggestion Title: Recording equipment
Suggestion Description: Adding in a reasonably sized realistic-ish looking video camera and microphone swep. These would do nothing (except maybe giving the microphone swep a hold left click ability to extend the microphone outwards, towards other players.)
For the camera, to keep it realistic and grounded a cheap-ish camcorder style camera would be preferable (imo, pic attatched)
Why should this be added?:
While not adding anything to the actual "gameplay" of the server it would add some more random toys for people to play with, pretending to be journalists and interviewing people. Would allow for player expression within the game etc.
What negatives could this have?:
Stupid people using it as an excuse to go full wartime report mode and run into raids. Also raises some rules questions that need to be addressed (regarding validity of recording for in character purposes, and proportionate criminal response to being filmed committing a crime.)
What problem would this suggestion solve?: It's not really a problem, the server would obviously survive without this. But I've found in my experience of games and their communities that the more silly fun things you add the more freedom it gives players to express themselves.
