[SOLVED] Can´t hear ingame voice´s and no-one can hear me.

I can´t hear if someone is talking and it does not show up the icon that shows when you are talking.

I tried to reinstall the game and i did verify the game cache. I really need help because i want to play on the server

I Believe there is specific options for voice chat in the settings of Gmod. Have you checked?

Is transmit and receive turned up in settings also the sercer is set so an icon will not show up. Can you hear any soulds excluding voice?

have you got your voice talk key binded? also type in console voice_enable 1

May sound rather simple but have to checked that your mic actually works? Press the windows key and type in voice record and give it a try (Or just google microphone test). At least then you'd know it's certainly GMOD.

Find the and steam settings in the tab "Voice" if you have the recieve and transmit volume on. also if you have your mic as the default voice transmit device.

This is the issue, you have some Virtual Audio Cable connected instead of ur mic
