Let's make this nice and simple.
After being part of this community for while I've witnessed the good, the bad and the ugly normally coming in the form of general cancer, don't get me wrong I'm not saying I haven't been an advocate of such behaviour but I've really seen no progression from a substantial number of the players. As you know I've been running a pretty successful casino for about a month now and tried mixing in some other passive RP material as well including my bank, legal/financial bureau and driving school to add some new elements to people's role play however only a handful of the community really participated whilst the other half remained power growing unfortunately, not to say that I'm expecting everyone to join however for a community who I hear say passive RP is dead it's pretty ironic given the circumstances.Now moving back onto the players I've realised a lot of peoples characteristics are forced, almost like sheep/dogs and that most of you do things on purpose to seek the praise and approval of your peers even if it may lead to you guys breaking the rules (it's actually caused me to delete some recordings as I know some like to use my videos to make AR's or IA's against others as I don't personally make either), I'd prefer if I saw more people being themselves however this is simply my opinion if you feel that this reflects on you I'd advise you change it up. Next a lot of the way a lot of players deal with others who may break rules is piss poor, not once have I seen local discussion on team speak to discuss situations that could reduce a lot of confusion for other players and the staff team as well, I find that this can also jeopardise relationships between players and commonly becomes the reason for the build up of 'salt'. Oh and a last point, if you have a problem with another player in game sort it out like a man and don't sneak diss OOC, LOOC or to another person. If you don't know what sneak dissing is, just use urban dictionary.
Just some names who's left and impact and I have given you my full recognition in IC or OOC (meaning this doesn't include close friends):
@Jordan Very decent lad, at this current moment I can't think of any active officer who better fits the role of chief of department. The guy has very strong role play and I've never seen him break character. He understands that raiding every apartment just because there's the possibility of a drugs being behind a door is unethical and I've seen that whilst on patrol. I believe a lot of officers can learn a lot by patrolling with Jordan as he's the officer with the most authority who uses the least of his power.
@Rogue Car Tyres Rogue was the only staff member I relied upon when I didn't understand something with either the rules or needed to have some communication with another staff member, I didn't tell rogue but he was actually my favourite staff member and the most reliable one in my opinion, as from a personal perspective some of the other staff members were quite hostile at the time, one thing that stood out to me when you was staff was the fact that you listened to both parties before acting and used your own common sense to deal with situations. Fuck knows why you were kicked but you should definitely re-apply would love to see you back with the title.
@Garry Arnolds When I hear Garry's name IC, I know it's either because the party speaking of his name is giving him ratings for his police work or rating his role play either way this lad is superb, does his job as an officer incredibly well, the way he deals with situations is done beautifully and to a very professional standard. Definitely see this guy as potential staff material and if the rank is opened up from Jordan possibly the most suitable for the role as chief of department.
@Super2984 Jack is a very friendly personality in the role play community normally devoting himself to his casino as a main source of income, I've watched personally how this lad deals with oncoming customers and even continues to cheer them up after losing large bets. Not only this but out of the casino the guys aspects doesn't change as he still remains friendly to all parties even when he's raiding them. True king of the casino, bastard nearly ran me out of business.
Other lads worth mentioning but can't be bothered to write you a message:
@Josef Stalin
@Edisom
@Weazel
@Itzryzo
Got more just don't know your forum names. So if you're not on here and feel you need a shout go buy yourself a medal and applaud in silence.
Now before I read one of those cringey overused comments like: See you next week or INB4 some bullshit this isn't really a goodbye, like the title implies I will be playing here and there just not half as regularly, some of you could do with a break as well, power growing during your summer holidays isn't cool guys.
Just some quotes for you lads, take it as you will.
- Liberty may be endangered by the abuse of liberty, but also by the abuse of power
- Let us remember: One rule list, one's time, one sweatervest, and one teacher can change the experience of a player.
- If you don't know where the term 'ten toes' comes from don't use it, it's cringey when you don't and you're probably not from ends.
- Ask for money whilst you 'believe' I'm not playing or being banned for a long time, go hang yourself, 'friends' don't beg for money in times of distress.
See you guys in a bit (not gone, just inactive).
