Windows 11 help

Since I've had my new PC i've had windows 11 however theres some settings issues I have

Whenever I try to take a screenshot with lightshot, printscreen shortcut, it tabs me out to desktop, any idea why?

running garry's mod full-screen windowed instead should fix it, lightshot bad sharex good

You can though, using ShareX. I'm on windows 11. Lightshot doesn't properly support it.

I personally use Greenshot. Very lightweight, has a simple built in image editor and can automatically upload to imgur

I would recommend using ShareX instead, one click to fully automatically upload a full screen screenshot, bindable hotkeys for various other tasks, really good built in editor too

Just use ShareX, works like a charm and it doesn't fuck with any of my games when using its tools

It's 2025, not 2015 so I suggest not using lightshot, i've managed to accidentally found private information because of some idiot screenshotting and uploading their credentials to lightshot by simply changing the end of the url until i spot something out, obviously not so much a problem if you're not uploading sensitive stuff to lightshot which would be idiotic to do in general but those are my two cents on it ^^

When you don't need to upload the images directly to an online platform, Windows+Shift+S will do the trick. It will copy the image to your clipboard, just like print screen.
