Punishment Type: Warning
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Focus_rado08
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: Not Applicable

Your Steam Name: Clayton_17
Your Roleplay Name: Connor casey
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:628541187

Why were you punished?: 4.1 - Failing to confiscate drugs from illegal drug production in his friend's property as a police officer

Why should this appeal be considered?: As we were using keys on the door and entered with keys, we were OOC.
It was all agreed upon by both the defenders and cops involved as we are all friends.
As this situation was OOC, no punishments should have been handed out.
Regardless of if we saw drugs, it was all an OOC situation.
As it states in the rules, "Out-of-Character (OOC) information must not influence In-Character actions."
Any and all warnings, including **choklad Free Nazeer**'s ban should be removed as well.
Nobody in this situation reported this and was all dealt with by Radoslav spectating us.
I can provide a demo if necessary if you want to go through it in detail.

How does opening the door that you have keys to somehow mean it’s OOC? Please explain more in detail, there is a clip in the comments regarding you guys inside and one of you/both of you telling them to close the door or something and you running out upstairs to deal with something going on at Slums 4

Just because I have keys to the apartment doesn't mean it can be used in character.
As per 3.5, I should be "forgetting details of my past life."
This includes friends, properties owned and if there's drugs in there as police is treated as a different job and you cannot use the name you remember as its both metagaming and NLR.
We were saying close the door cause then again, it's all jokes in the end and as stated before, OOC.
Us running up to S4 was when we ended the OOC and returned to being in character, however I take blame for that and shouldn't have happened.
I don't believe we harmed anyone's roleplay in the process and feel the warn was unnecessary if none of it was in character.

You cant just enter OOC and exit OOC out of nowhere, also dying doesn't means you have to forget all your friends and stuff. And yes if you have keys to apartment it can be very well used ic
