You can still run, you just can't sprint. I wouldn't be against the idea of reloading a pistol or 1 handed SMG whilst sprinting, as they're lighter, one-handed weapons, but it makes no sense that you can reload an assault rifle or shotgun whilst sprinting at full speed.

The year is 2072, I'm still playing perpheads. v7 has just released. I magdump a tfu, who all have .50MG light machine guns and personal force fields. I then have to fill out and submit a form to the admins in order to reload my gun, all while standing perfectly stationary. The admins refuse my request, and I am automatically forced to act surrender. A pistol cop shoots me in the head anyway.

We’d still have a lot of our old movement playstyle here if people weren’t consistently turbo sweating and doing a breakdance routine to a 400 BPM song whenever they were in combat by the way. People doing stupid movement and abusing the engine into shaping your hitbox like this caused a mechanic to inhibit such movement being possible to be a necessity.

But I love breakdancing at 720 BPM while listening to BFG division while on fentanal

However shitposting aside I get what you and the devs are getting at I had my fair share of ppl do that with me and imma be honest im not the best shot / not very good at tracking so that shit frushtrated me to no end, However looking back on it I see the nessisaty but the penialty imo is too much, for example Revolvers are now very un-utilised, they may hit hard and they punish you for not hitting your shots correctly, it also is the fact it takes 20 years to reload by the time its over your dead, There needs to be something that accounts for people using things like pistols, hence a while back and a bunch have put in about speedloaders to make revolvers less punishing thats just one example tho.

TLDR: Even confirmed by devs this change is sticking, but it needs to be a little less punishing + Fix the reload animations
