Why were you punished?: 3.4 - User raided a property which had police in the area. User failed to check for police even though he saw the car and barricades.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I was raiding Regals 3 , when I had arrived they were 2 barricades and 1 empty cop car just left there and EMS was not on scene. I arrived at Regals and then immediately EMS left the scene. I walked up the Regals staircase and there were no cops on scene then I started lockpicking and could only hear a part of a talk from Regals 5.

The cop car was empty. I checked the area and looked up the Regals staircase as I was in my vehicle then I walked up to the Regals staircase still no cops were on scene. I then started lockpicking because my investigation was over but then I heard a part of their talk from Regals 5.

Before initiating a raid, it is your responsibility to ensure the area is clear. Like you point out yourself, there were emergency vehicles in the area, which should have led you to a more exhaustive preparation if you really wanted to raid that property. It is not unreasonable nor unlikely that if you see a bunch of cop and EMS vehicles and hear people talking, they may be somewhere in the building.
