Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Sean
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 1 Month
Your Steam Name: Hlias
Your Roleplay Name: Ilias Escobar
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:526721348
Why were you punished?: 3.4, 3.12 - User opened fire on cops to allegedly assist his friend, despite his friend already being dead and all weapons confiscated. This resulted in the user being gunned down and arrested. In another situation, the user assassinated the Mayor despite the taxes being set to a lower target and on their way down to being 1%.
Why should this appeal be considered?: Hello, I would like to dispute this ban where I have allegedly broken these two rules because it felt unfair and I want you to see my point of view in both situations.
Regarding the 3.4 breach as the first reason:
I was there on top of the stairs in regals and I had my org members actively telling me in org chat 'KOS COPS REGALS' and then Katya Love tells me 'MF HELP ME' as you see in the clip I have attached to this report. Anybody seeing what's written there and their org members in trouble, would assist them in getting rid of the cops and that's what I did.
I acted on what has been told to me ICly by my org members and opened fire, had I known that they were all dead and the weapons were already confiscated, I would have not done so. So please put yourself in my place and from my perspective what I was seeing and how I acted.
Regarding the 3.12 breach:
The mayor has set the tax to 25% for two hours, and during this whole time me and a group were trying to track him down. We have spent so much of our time looking for the mayor, so we were fully invested in it and when we found him we killed him. I honestly did not notice that he set the taxes low, but you can see how I could've missed it...since the tax was that high for hours and we all did not expect him to suddenly drop it down.
I also want to raise another point, the mayor kept the tax that high for hours and it impacted me and other org members that wanted to craft. He was mocking us in the mayor government line the whole time too. I just feel that him suddenly dropping the tax to 1% after keeping it up for that long and damaging us economically should not make him automatically invincible, but like I said it before I did not notice the tax dropping either.
I hope you can take my points into consideration, and to look at both the situations from my point of view and why I did what I did.
