Why should this player be punished?: I went to Drug Dealer to sell. I have a literal AK in my hands and he comes up and hits me with a bat to mug me. So im thinking he only has a bat so i run. i turn to check if he has a gun and he does so when i stop he just shoots me. He put his life at risk with no benefit since an AK overpowers a bat.

Eddie sock is currently forum banned and wants me to speak on his behalf,

Eddie and Joe Diamond another Ballas member actually looked into this, they got confirmation off of @sidd previously that its currently a "grey area" to do what he did before attempting.

As Ryan said, I was told by sidd (I’m paraphrasing here) to “keep trying as some people may follow gunpoint”. That’s to say keep trying this strategy of mugging people. He said he spoke to senior administration and it’s currently a grey area as to whether they have to follow gunpoint in that instance. He made no mention of our strategy being against the rules and, like I said, encouraged us to keep trying it on other people.

The bat vs. AK argument falls flat because, per the help guidelines for 3.4, you can defend yourself in this position.

It only stands to reason that if you, the person with the AK, are facing away and your gun is in passive stance, that’s all the more reason why him attacking with a bat would not constitute a 3.4 violation as he has the obvious jump on you and it only takes a maximum of 2 hits to disarm you.
