Why should this player be punished?: While there was a raid on regals 3 he decided to come outside to ask police to uncuff his friend, after being told mutiple times to go back inside and when the officer was pushing him inside his friend show up and shot the cop.

@loomatron why did you fail to listen to the officers demands while you were under gunpoint?

I heard my friend shouting obscenities at the police and someone being beaten to death inside my house and gunshots. Believing either the police or someone else was raiding my home and not wanting my planters in the back taken by a raider or police I swung the door open and shot. I only had time to register that there was someone inside with a weapon who wasn’t one of my friends before firing. I’m not sure why this is even on the forums, I honestly believe this report exists because the officers didn’t like the in-character outcome because even though we argued in-game and exchanged insults all they could do was arrest me.

I have thoroughly read through the rules multiple times and this falls under 3.4/3.6 because I thought my life and property were in imminent danger. I was inside my own property when I heard my friend being attacked and gunshots around my apartment, and someone armed in my house so I acted to defend myself. By the time I swung my door with all the chaos going on (gunshots, someone getting beat to death, and verbal argument) I only had time to register it was someone armed in my house so I applied lethal force.

The clip speaking itself what was the situation, about this being on forums maybe you are new and you don´t know that but when someone gets a report open on them on the server and they get off the report get to the forums, i don´t see any issues with you being toxic in game, also the report is not even about it, also the report for your information was open when i got shot not after it.

At the end of the day this back and forth is irrelevant, this comes down to me acting in self-defense inside my own property. The situation clearly falls under 3.4/3.6 realistic risk and protection of life/property as the clip shows. I wasn’t provoking or chasing anyone; I only reacted to gunfire, my friend being attacked, and an armed intruder in my house. Even with your clarification I can still infer that you got shot, didn't like it, and reported, either way.

@loomatron is already perm banned and so this Accepted AR will be added to his ban reason for 3.4, purely to affect future appeals/disputes etc.

@Fathead4Lz although I understand what you mean, your property was not the target in this case, and you should have investigated properly before taking action. Especially taking action against the police that were not there for your property at all. Had you waited longer to see how the situation would've unfolded you would've seen that your property would've been safe and was not the target here.
