Suggestion Title: Search function on the phone
Suggestion Description: Add a search function to the phone app so you can find peoples names quicker.

Why should this be added?:
I often find myself scrolling for a while on my phone looking for a certain person but with a simple search feature it would speed up that process.

What negatives could this have?:
"dev time"

What problem would this suggestion solve?: People with a long phone list would struggle a lot less.

Would be really good to have this, perhaps also a fav contact button that pins them at the top instead of having to add a ! at the start of the name to pin them to the top

this is actually one of the most basic things needed for a long time.

Ever since I started, I always would put !!! Behind people’s names or just tinker with my messages app to search contacts app then just call them through that search bar instead of categorizing with special characters.

Basically, it’s too tedious.

Elements of the phone have not been updated since V2 several of the basic functions could use overhauls much like the contacts. I admit that calls and texts could also use updates.

I don't have much of a problem with contacts but I imagine if you have a few saved it would take awhile so maybe a tab for org members would help quite a bit.

you sort of just ignored what the suggestion was about, it was more for overall contacts. there would be no point in me phoning an org member when there's access to teamspeak or org chat

i can confirm this is a pain in the ass. my phone list is awfully long, so what i do is instead of finding the name in my contact list i just go on the PD computer and search their name up there to get their number...

No. It works the same way almost all phones do when searching for contacts through the numpad.

The number corresponds to 3 letters.

For instance:

To search for Tilin you press 84546

5 (J K L)
4 (G H I)
6 (M N O)

I was gonna say the same thing, can you also search for messages already
