Suggestion Title: Mods with prop limits
Suggestion Description: Give mods the power to increase players prop limits

Why should this be added?:
nearly every night I have a bazaar shop, every time it’s really difficult to get my props increased, you guys know it’s impossible to have a shop with 40 props. Most of the time it’s just moderators online, no seniormod+, sometimes I wait for an hour or more before finally getting my props increased, it’s insanely stressful as you just stand there not being able to do anything with your shop.

What negatives could this have?:
- I don’t see any, it’ll help senior mods+ to not get bombarded with tickets that the mods can’t do, will also keep players happy as they can continue to role play quicker

What problem would this suggestion solve?: The excessive waiting times for prop increases.

Why’s it a disaster waiting to happen? Are you saying mods aren’t trusted? Surely all staff is capable to handle something as simple as this, no?

Okay we're a bit overdramatizing why this isn't given to moderators.

There's a few reasons why it likely hasn't been added already:
- Yes, it literally gives the Senior Mod role a job to do apart from just it being a cool rank (there is other perks to it dw)
- It limits as to who can extend props. We know props can cause a lot of issues for the server, so it's good to be kept track of by fewer people
- We also tend to be a bit more experienced and know the playerbase a bit more and who to trust with up to 115 props (or more for other stuff)

It's not that mods cannot be trusted, but the more you limit the exposure of the command (as impactful), the less likely there is issues for everyone on the server.

If we were to go further.. The same could be said for refunds. Are Senior Mods not to be trusted with it? Yes and no. Whilst we all should be expected to resist the temptation of granting ourselves free weapons, we are human at the end of the day.

The higher the rank, the more power, the more responsibility, the more accountability and effort put into the role, the less likely abuse or neglect happens.

TL;DR: Don't implement or my report quota goes to shit. /s

They are not that trusted just yet, and after being here for 10+ years, I know mods can do abusive things with their powers.

Senior Mods and above are more unlikely ro abuse their powers, and thats why it should be kept as is.

Props also, when given to wrong people, can cause issues to the server.

And what @Tilin said.

I know it's frustrating not being able to get a prop extension during some hours, but I agree with Tilin, it can be quite an impactful thing as I know many people already struggle with lag on a reasonably frequent basis, more people managing prop extensions just opens up more possibilities of game ruining experiences with lag.

I understand what you imply, but giving a prop extension has no similarity to giving out refunds and spawning items, majority of the time there isn’t a seniormod+ online. It’s usually just moderators. It’s so frustrating waiting hours for a extension and not people able to do anything with your shop

Here i am again no seniormod+ on the server, what do I do? wait hours for someone to finally come on when there's a capable mod here who could simply extend my props.

Given this, maybe you could update your suggestion to allow for Mods to be able to give prop extensions when 2 conditions are met, no Sr. Mod online and less than half (64) players online. That might be a better possibility but likely won't constitute a development priority

You're lucky @Lhealey05 is even on, this early, in all fairness. More often that not there is not staff members available this early.

I will reiterate my point again:
Props can cause massive issues, so giving a player up to 115 props with little-to-no-staff on is not the brightest idea, even if that player may not intend to cause harm, we've had it happen many times and I always typically check in with the people who I extended their prop limits first.

Again, limiting a permission this impactful to a smaller group of people means we still keep a bit more of an oversight. As well as that not everyone is entitled to extended props, it's given with trust.

I don't think you realize extended props for shops were not the norm and we coped just fine "back in my day". Just decorate it less for the time being and sell the essential items you want to sell.

"but giving a prop extension has no similarity to giving out refunds and spawning items"
Well both have a server impact on it. One is economical, the other one is server performance. At the end of the day, both will ruin the experience for all players is misused either with malice or neglect.
