My fun fact is that I won several University Debate tournaments and even went to compete in the Nationals my first year of Uni. One of my biggest flexes for sure.

The topics were different during each tournament. We also did United Nations simulations, but I never competed in that, my strength was Academic Debate. Some of the topics I remember are the legalization of firearms and whether the bi-party system in Spain was good for democracy. Each round you would randomly be assigned "in favour" or "against". Academic Debate rules are quite lengthy so I will not go into much more detail, but it was fun.
