Well, hello there friend! Findin' the rough roads a little too chaotic? Need a place to relax, have a drink, sing a song or two or maybe bring some friends? Well you're just in luck! The Hellhound's Respite has opened it's doors for the very first time and our gentle jazz and live music opportunities for those talented and willing are welcome to all who need a moment to breath, a place so relaxing, even a hound of hell finds rest!
So come come, step into the lights, greet our wonderful Bartender Honeypot, get your pick of poison and relax, let the world beyond our brick walls fade away into a noiseless void, step into the Hellhound's Respite and stay as long as you need.

That describes the feeling of this build pretty succinctly
I started this build at ~11PM my time, and finished it ~9:46am
it took FOREVER!!!!
BUT!!
So worth it
The idea is based off an older 1960s or 80s jazz club, but a bit grung-ier which is a HUGE diversion from my usual build and art styles, and to go along with that, its not intended to be a traditional shop, rather an event space for people to have social gatherings via ingame soliciting and what not
This took me a million miles out my comfort zone and even put me off the build, as I was going to build this before the Witches Brew (See previous post) however couldnt figure it out!
I took some tricks i learnt from the witches brew, mainly carpets and their amazing lack of interactions with stuff (thank you so much for that <33) and continued with the upgraded art, this time quite a lot less going on but much more professional looking sign/logo, with of course mentions to those fund and sponsor me ! (thank you both <3)
There's quite a few 'minor' details that Oleg pointed out so I thought a little picture would be nice, like the support for the stairs and lights, as well as the second sky sign outside being hung up kinda like those old toyko-style neon lights!
My favourite part of the build has to be the bar, as much as I love the stairs to the stage I just can't get over how well it worked, it looks so pretty and really took some figuring out but man does it look stunning
My least favourite part of the build is probably the stairs to the stage, they took so much finangling and were quite easy to screw up, but the design is so worth it, so what can ya do!
The build itself (including sellables) is 165 full props, 127 of which are actual props and 37 being sellables, some being actually sold and some being set deco, which makes this monster of a build my biggest yet, and the art is more of a perspective piece and i actually used the ingame piano as a reference which is two things ive never really done before!!

I plan to keep the shop open for as long as possible, and id really love to host an actual event here or two, maybe have some live music or something, so please get in touch if that's something you'd be interested in!!
I was originally pretty unsure if I'd wanna rebuild it in the future, but Oleg mentioned something for a private friend party, and I'd definitely be down for that in the future as a little venue, so we'll see!!
Oh and if you're curious about costs, while not an exact number, I'd easily wager over 600k, so thank god for funding!!!!
Anywho, I hope you enjoy the space!! Come visit and listen to the music and if anyone can guess its secret I'll give you 10k :3
