In my opinion this isn't really necessary, we already have the timer on the phone, and I can't really see alot of situations in which this would be too useful for people.

It sounds quite nice, but I don't think it's that necessary tbh. It also depends on the coding that needs to be done, maybe just a notification ''you have received a message'' would do too?
