Why were you punished?: 3.4 - User loitered around a shootout and involved themselves in it when they were not part of it, further risking there life.
Why should this appeal be considered?: At the time I understood my mistake and even "self reported" this issue to Moon, which was handled incredibly well.
I clearly struggle to grasp the concept of 3.4 as its easily my most broken and banned rule, one thing I obviously haven't appreciated is how wide the rule is, and just how many RP situations it pertains too.
I understand now why (and with clear and understandable communication from Moon) I had broken the rule as stated above in the punished Section and can undeniably say that I will avoid situations like the one above, and any previous 3.4 rule breaks I have committed, be that "3.4 - User had taken revenge on another player when they were being dealt with by police, then straight away trying to shoot the officers straight after he didn't manage to kill the player" or "3.4 - The player, while on duty as Medic, circled around the scene of a crime and then crashed their full-size ambulance into an active shooter. As a result, the shooter managed to fire towards both the Medic and Police Officers, resulting in the suspect's death. The player did not value their life and attempted to aid police efforts." and as you can see, all these situations vary wildly, but are all under the umbrella rule of 3.4 danger to life.
I will be more cautious in future, and make sure I understand the rules and ask frequent questions if I do not understand the rule in its entirety.
I apologise for breaking the rule, for failing to do due diligence in understanding the rule and for creating unnecessary stress and work for the Mod(s) involved in my ban/s.
I have sat out close to 2 months of my ban before making this apology, thats due to my lengthy history as well as a clear understanding that I broke a rule, both at the time and now.
I'd appreciate having my ban lifted a month early, but will fully understand a simple "Appeal Denied" due to my history.
