Well, it seems like my Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless decided they don't want to connect to the base station anymore tonight.

Looking for either a good headset (wireless or long cable so I can move around) or headphones (same as the headset) with a seperate microphone to replace it. Price doesn't really matter that much as long as it's not like half a months salary lol.

Any recommendations welcome.

For a microphone im using a HyperX quadcast and its been very nice, especially for those late night ASMR calls…

The headset that I have is a Sennheiser 599 SE - No complaints + German company which im sure will make you happy…

Absolutely this, used their entry level xclouds for several years now. Perfect mics

FYI Sennheiser headsets are called EPOS but its practically the same brand.

I had a Sennheiser (EPOS) GSP 300 before I moved to studio headphones and desktop mics. Look at the reviews, I like the sound profile and the mic itself sounds really good for a headset. Should be a lot cheaper too, it was about 100€ when I got mine and they go for 50€ now.

If you want desktop mic get HyperX Quadcast (RGB version is useless and more expensive so get the red version).

Studio headphone recommendation is hard per budget but you can't go wrong with Sennheiser HD 600, BeyerDynamic DT770 or what I'm using right now which are the Sony MDR-MV1 which is the most comfortable (and expensive) of them all.

I can whole heartedly endorse the dt 770.

DT 770

I am currently using it and I absolutely love the long cable, comfortable as hell and I have no complaints.

As for the mic, I paid like 30-40 euro for mine, however it is no longer on amazon.
With that, just see what people say.

When did you get your novas? I got the same ones, had them swapped on warranty after a year due to cracks, maybe you still have the warranty?

I'm german, I always shout lol.
when don't you shout? ahhaaha

JBL quantum 350 is what I'm currently using and they seem to do the job, nothing flashy or stupid priced but does everything I need it to do.

Audio-Technica M50xGM

Those are my headphones had them for years there wired but the cable is super long and can be run over quite easy without fuss, i like these, my mic i had issues with for a while but when it is working its good

I know you probably don't care but going XLR with a proper XLR microphone and some good audiophile approved headphones will change your world.
You can get cables up to 10 meters would you really want that but 3-5m is plenty.

I own the DT 770 pro 80 Ohms and it's very good for the use I am using it for, For the mic it's optional I went for the hyperx quadcast for it's simple features.
