Model Suggestion Free-standing image signs

Suggestion Title: Free-standing image signs
Suggestion Description: Add more free-standing image signs beyond the vertical 1:2 wooden posterboard.

For example: A-frame style metal road signs in 1:1 and horizontal 1:2 format.

Why should this be added?:
+ Further increases roleplay opportunities with signs (directional arrows, road works, advertisements, etc)
+ Allows users to place down signs without having to freeze them (as they are freestanding), which may be against the rules or cause collisions
+ There is only one similar lightweight freestanding sign currently in existence

What negatives could this have?:
- No unique negative points of this suggestion come to mind

What problem would this suggestion solve?: No specific problem, just a neat feature. I suppose it would curtail freezing signs awkwardly in public areas

The main negative is that I think it's a bad idea to add the ability to place down custom traffic signs. People could get confused and in my opinion they should not be enforceable by Police. For this alone, I wouldn't add the suggested props in the way you propose. Traffic signs should be finite and supported by the penal code.

Additionally, them standing on their own and not having to be frozen isn't necessarily a good thing: it's very easy for other people to pull out their fists and steal or throw away for no particular reason. Even if we disabled this, they could still be pushed by players, props, or vehicles. This isn't new, and already affects other similarly shaped image entities.

I believe something like model you put in the pictures would be a good addition as a barricade with some predefined skins for arrows or warning signs. Barricades have some mechanics to counter these issues.

Keep in mind we plan to add variable message signs to major roads.

All images are approved by staff anyway, just don't approve road sign related ones?

Fair enough, though this is still a thing that people can do at the moment with the existing image frames (albeit frozen or propped up against the walls)

The main point would be that these would be less obtrusive than a frozen sign precisely because you could move it with your fists or by hitting it with a vehicle either intentionally or accidentally without meeting an immovable object

This is a neat compromise that I’d love to see impmenented; perhaps with signs for no entry, keep left/keep right, STOP, etc for police and road crew. Though this would prevent player made adverts or directional signs from being used by this model
