FY - Paralake racing league SEASON 2

Huge respect to all the officers who helped out today and were extremely professional during it. We organized ourselves with ease and the posts were held without any major issues.

Massive thanks to @Lhealey05 for organizing the meeting room session with me and instructing the officers alongside.

Thank you to our group of (primarily) RTU officers:
@Pinklord (Liam O'Shea)
@mikosh
@nako5
@PotatoAnimation
@Nova.
@ads102003
(and others who joined afterwards)

Last second sketch 25min before the race started (General instructions):

To quickly recap the purpose of the blockades/checkpoints we set up:
- Points Blue and Red were primarily responsible to stop any unwanted traffic to access the course
- Point Yellow was responsible for handling the entry to the event and general security in the area of the start.
- Point Pink was responsible for dealing with any potential unwanted guests on the track, which could endanger the safety of the competitors.

One oversight we quickly fixed into the race was the competitors falling onto the parker tunnel (between point Blue and point Yellow). An additional officer was dispatched to stay at parker tunnel and secure the road until the vehicle is safely removed.

@peeps we made sure to make use of the very pretty meeting room!

I enjoyed tonight and thank you for letting me help you we all did very good tonight and the plan went very well and was nice to have new officers involved aswell

Race is on tomorrow 7pm UTC! We might also squeeze one in next week, to catch up.

Don't forget tomorrows race is 3 classes. Thanks to generous donations by @MangoFracht423 and @Medium there is additional 100k(s) up for grabs in B and C tier. If you wanna race, please consider joining the cup instead, especially if you're new or less skilled as drivers. If you have access to different cars you can also choose classes after getting your starting number. Teslas and G-Wagons count as B-tier tomorrow.

ALDI SÜD RACING's @fokus-rado08 takes home a easy victory after a clean start and moves back to rank #1. MiP's @Headline and Project R's @walnash came in second and third after some heavy racing and having had their starts bottled. It is worth menitoning Rado and Roxanne had double upgraded SLRs.

WINNER OF THE 100k B-TIER CUP sponsored by @MangoFracht423 is @ricky hendrix
WINNER OF THE 100k C-TIER CUP sponsored by Astor Technologies is @Sin

Thank you for joining the 21st rendition of FY racing. Splitting up the cars into 3 tiers honestly did not really help against DNFs. Next street race we'll only do the C-tier and increase the prize money for that. We think of some other ideas for the bad starts and hopefull also the lag. Thanks everyone I hope you had fun!

P4 lets go

Did you know the first 8 or so races were not sanctioned by the PLPD? There used to be cops who build layered barricades, blocking off entire streets, causing crashes and rouge sweater cops would sometimes even OPEN FIRE on race leaders!

This all changed when Captain Acer Joseph lobbied with PD leadership to have street racing in Paralake legalized! Personally I'm very happy about that.

On a unrelated note, next week is another rallycross tournament on the "Acerius Officer of the year rally stage" in forest/subs. Don't miss out!
