Hello,

As the title states, whilst playing certain games( those tested being Arc Raiders, REPO and BF6(In its open beta) my computer would randomly restart after sometime of having these applications open, in addition to this, after the reboot, my PC begins to be sluggish and eventually after attempting to restart it, will bluescreen, before returning to normal after another restart( which makes me believe it to be possibly CPU related?)

For those concerned about temps, when playing REPO, I recall my CPU not even passing 60 degrees and this reboot still occured

My setup at the moment contains
Rysen 5 5600G Clocked at 4.65Ghz
RTX 3060(8GB model)
16GB DDR4 3600MHz
B450 Tomahawk Max 2

I have already performed a stress test on the CPU using a burntest program, which had operated for around 20 mins at max load with no issues, I had also tested the GPU putting it under full load as well using a benchmark, which it 100% with no slowdown( also showcasing that my power supply is not faulty as well)

What is especially wierd, is that I see no issues when playing FiveM, Red dead Redemption 2 or Clair Obscur, with several of them being rather CPU demanding titles.

-Edit My shutdown in ARC was actually temp related after an OC, will retest and see if the reboot still happens( it still happens)

So, I have actually dealt with this EXACT same issue quite a few times myself, not necessarily a blue screen, but my pc rebooting.

Idk how frequently you clean your pc but ive found often its some sort of dust sitting somewhere that prevents my hardware from functioning properly and do need to do a bit of cleaning. Now about the bluescreen it could either be CPU or Motherboard as those 2 are usually the usual suspects. In none of these cases in my experience was any of my hardwares temps particularily above what it should be either.

Another good way could be download Adwcleaner for just pc and trash cleanup and Malwarebytes(Or another antivirus) and run just on the safe side. If these still dont work, then im unfortunately out of ideas Or experience to point out.

I had this issue awhile ago in which it would crash on the most random of games with no pattern I was dealing with it for several years and could never figure it out. The problem resolved itself in a rather costly way after my motherboard failed resulting in me ordering a new kit and applying a fresh windows install. So new motherboard, CPU and memory and wiping the slate clean the problem has not resurfaced since despite using the same graphics card.

Its possible that there could be some hardware incompatability or a software issue as my problem started when getting a new graphics card but it could be simply due to how old the system was. I wish I could give you an answer im certain of but computer troubleshooting is hands down one of the most difficult things to do, it could be as easy as a broken power switch or invisible gremlins.

Had this with helldivers, PC would heat up to like 75-85c and would shut down, had a fucking layer of dust so thick I couldn't see my fans

I have had this problem, I had to change gpu.

Its the problem with the GPU.
I know this cause after having my 3060 for around 2 years, I've had my PC randomly reset whilst playing games.

Did you check your event viewer to see what the error code was?
If error code 153, a new GPU will be needed.

I would also clock down your CPU to see if that has something to do with the bsods.

Considering there is a blue screen, it DOES mean that some hardware is dying so likely will have to be replaced yeah.
