Suggestion Title: FOR RTFO
Suggestion Description: For RFTO, when gearing up, first of all, it takes a lot of time — which is fair. But if you, by mistake, put a different scope on or remove something, you will have to wait for it to be done, and that can cost your life and your officers’ lives.

Why should this be added?:
- To save time and also be able to press Escape or click no

What negatives could this have?:
- I dont really see any probelms with it

What problem would this suggestion solve?: It would solve the fact that if you take some on by mistake that you dont have to wait so long for it do be done, but you have time to help tfu and officer

what are u trying too say?
He wants to be able to quickly cancel a weapon swap from the bearcat but hasn't actually specified that in the suggestion. The problem with that is that you shouldn't be swapping weapons in a life threatening situation in the first place, only when you are safe and know you have enough time to swap weapons. If you ask me the system makes sense since thinking realistically, it can take a sec to mess with attachments on your weapons and you wouldn't compromise yourself to do it.

i have no clue what u mean by this suggestion but i can suspect u mean gearing up in a brute.. Well its meant to be long so u know what u pick, and u should be decided what to pick - it gives crims a fair chance to win fights and not people endlessly gearing up in the brute

For anyone wondering Thorgal is suggesting the ability to cancel equipping a weapon via the armoury system. The title will be changed to prevent confusion.

He's also talking about the length of the Bearcat Gear Up time, not just the cancelling.

I hope thorgal realises that it's supposed to take long to gear up from the bearcat on purpose

no i am talking about that if i mistaken take something it would be nice to cancled it so i dont die
I feel like it's rather hard to accidentally pick the wrong scope and if you somehow do that just deal with it, it would probably be alot of effort for the devs to make it so specifically scopes are faster at swapping than anything else in the armoury system, not that I know how any of that works.

that is not what i am writing i am saying if they could be a cancled button so you can close it if you do so

Thorgal and I talked about this yesterday but the way they worded it is pretty questionable so I understand the confusion and downvotes.

They just want a simple option to press escape or add a X to the main window of the gear selection screen because as of right now you're forced to make an option to close the screen if you accidentally accessed it.

This is especially problematic on the Bearcat because even something like resupplying takes time just to close a window.

Exactly

I agree with this.
Not sure what Thorgal is talking about.

Perhaps for balancing reasons it can be made that once you cancel, you will "drop the weapon" causing you to lose your main weapon, being able to use your side-arm.

I like to think the reason it takes so long is because the bearcat has a 20 digit keypad passcode to enter, it takes 1-2 seconds to grab a gun. This needs no balance it's just qol

I agree, idk why that shit does not have a cancel button, same for the PD armory. You misclick once and then have to wait 7 business days just to correct it. It has never gotten me killed personally, and should have little to virtually no effect on balance, it's just annoying and pointless instead. If you grabbed a weapon or attachment IRL, it would take you a fraction of a second to simply put it back down and correct the brief mistake by grabbing another so it doesn't really make sense to me to have to wait through 2 Skyrim loading screens to correct a choice.
