How did you find perp and why did you stay

I used to play alot of perp back in the day (because I didn't really enjoy DarkRP), when there was a few servers about - mainly on evocity. I think I may have played perpheads back when, but I don't know. All I know is I already had a character setup when I decided to delve back into it recently, can't tell you what sparked me to get back into it again after barely touching gmod for years.
Found it randomly as i download gmod after taking a 2 year gaming break, made friends and enjoyed the community

Got banned for cheating on Mono > me @rxsm and Rai Dooley tried Perp as it was the only server similar to it, we found it very fun, fought against ASDA and put up a good fight as 3 people against their 20 men.. > quit Perp because I got unbanned from Mono > got banned for the 2nd time for cheating on Mono > tried Perp again, @rxsm and Rai Dooley got banned, and I was on the brink of quitting, while I was stuck with 0 guns and 0 money and a comms ban, my car gets stolen right in front of me, that's when @walnash shot the guy and picked me up as an ASDA prodigy.. @walnash was such a warmhearted individual and kept supplying me with both guns and money to help me get back up on my feet, which made me stay for quite some time, until you guessed it; got unbanned from Mono and quit Perp > got banned for the 3rd time for cheating on Mono and started playing Perp again > got unbanned on Mono again and after 2 or so years it closed down and I decided to quit GMod as a whole..
Joined back after my ban expired in October, first day back me and @Thorgal had some fun and said I should join MiP but I wasn't sure whether or not I would stay for long, though I made the great decision of hopping back on the next day where @Pugga welcomed me back.. MiP then started to die out and GS9 was made, the rest is history...

joined in 2022 and would join every few weeks to annoy people and ass about and try to get banned until I met @Bertie @omega @AcidFerret and they made me play properly

joined in 2015 after joining randomly through an owner of a DarkRP server I played in 2014 - and yeah i guess here I am still and no regrets!!

My brother used to play this server a fair bit in 2016 and introduced me to it around new years 2016. I stayed because I like the community and managed to stick around with no long breaks by keeping it interesting & changing playstyles.

2023: Playing whatever the hell I feel like with no clear motive in mind

i was bored in 2013, logged on, got RDM'd within 3 minutes, decided it was worth spending thousands of hours on. 13 years is crazy
A Turkish friend said to join this cool server with me. I did a courier job for around 2 weeks just delivering packages. Then I stopped randomly. Around 2 years later I just remembered the server and joined back. Become a PD main. Then got addicted.
Ruined my life; won't recommend.
Joined after seeing bub games videos, joined a random org on a even worse laptop. The laptop destroyed itself and I got a random shitty laptop again i joined a Swedish org with a cheater who is now banned. Joined numerous shitter orgs after that until @Aquaa Invited me to parabellum became a crafter in legacy thanks to @Baba joined aloo89s org got meta banned joined legacy and all my friends in that became cwb and 2.6/cheating ban and I got meta banned shortly after, invited to hoodrats, joined mip and it became GS9 i still average 30 fps @AcidFerret was very helpful into educating and getting me into pd carried on playing due to some lovely players thanks for everyone who helped me <3
