Why were you punished?: 3.4 - The user lurked around an active shootout which resulted in him being gunpointed. Upon being told to turn around and leave the area, the user argued to get their weapon back, causing their death.
Why should this appeal be considered?: First we will start with; "The user lurked around an active shootout which resulted in him being gunpointed." at no point was I "lurking" around the shootout, I was at the casino playing a hand of black jack as my org member said over teamspeak raid and disconnected from teamspeak. My other 2 org members that was in teamspeak called a raid out as well, I finished my blackjack hand and ran straight too southgate. Within 10 seconds of me getting too southgate i got gun pointed from a raider when I had went to jump back over the railing, failing twice causing me too have no option but to comply with the gun point.
Now this part of my ban reasoning; "Upon being told to turn around and leave the area, the user argued to get their weapon back, causing their death." As you can see in my clip my hands was up and would be going down very shortly, I was arguing I would pick my gun up with my hands chuck it over the fence and leave going to cover (behind the gas station) to be able to pick my gun up and push the raider with my other 2 org members. I believe my safest option was to go towards the gas station after my hands had gone down getting me out of the raiders line of site where walking towards the open area with grass gives me no cover and the raider an option too still shoot me.
As you can also see in my clip the raider shot at me before attempting too gun point me, yes that could be a
"warning shot" but that is already showing they have 0 regard for if I live or not.
Too me that also means that going to a covered area rather than an open area is providing me a better option at survival as they have already shot at me and very well could again, like they did.
Additional Information: The raider also would have no idea who I am without seeing the "GS9" above my head as ive recently switched clothes, character and name and not had any interaction with this person, therefor why would I specifically be a threat?
When I first saw Kate I didn’t know who it was so was cautious but couldn’t see them visually armed, by the time I did it would of been a death sentence for me too pull my gun as they already had theirs pointed. If I knew they was armed I would have shot them when they was standing still.
