Hello all,
This isn't something I would usually speak about however this year this has become important to me.
Recently wherever I go / look its always about Pride ( which don't get me wrong is a good thing ), however there is never anything to do with mens mental health. Almost like its forgotten.
Going off the statistics from so far in 2026, 1 in 5 men experience a mental health condition in the USA. Alongside this 22-23 males per 100,000 in the US commit suicide because of this. So far in 2026 suicide is the 4th leading cause in death among individuals aged 15-29 years old. Approximately 60%-78% of men with mental health issues don't seek treatment / refuse treatment. It is the norm in society for men to receive comments like man up, get a grip etc which will normally deter men to go seek help.
What I wish for is anyone that is struggling with mental health to reach out to someone and discuss it, whether this be family, friends, a health care specialist.
If anyone seeks help or wishes to talk to someone my DMS are always open likewise you can always contact any mental health services in your country / contact lifeline to assist you in finding mental health services.
