Why should this player be punished?: They tried to mug me, however I pulled out a gun before they were able to gun point me, and they just decided to kill me anyways only because I was holding a gun in passive, not pointing. Thus making me fail a bank raid. I didn't lose my AK-47 though.

No, the shootout had only just started and I was not involved, I was not mid shootout either I tried to atleast stand far away, I would have left if I even had the opportunity to but I was not given one or able to.

I only left my car to equip my gun so I wasn’t able to be mugged otherwise I would have been gun pointed out of my car.

ok so basically you wanna hold you "C" key then over over "Surrender" the big red cirle, and you release "C", then you wont get shot in the middle of a shootout

They knew I was already there before the shootout happened, they knew there wasn’t a way for me to leave and saw my gun in passive yet still killed me.

you have a car, which you can drive in, yk the whole reason why cars exisit. you knowingly knew a mugging was about to go down, which if you wanted no part in you should have driven off.

even then, you still had a chance to surrender but you decided you wanted to stay and spectate a shootout

think i should also metion, we didnt try and mug you we were mugging the other car, so you should have driven off, if you didnt want to be apart of it.

Yes, I also had two cars following me trying to mug me blocking me into the bunker area, if I tried to turn around I would have most likely been forced out my car. I was not spectating a shootout, I didn’t know one was about to happen, when one did happen I almost immediately died afterwards I had about no reaction time to want to leave that situation.

From my perspective, I was blocked in by three cars so I could not leave and I was immediately killed in a shootout I was not involved in and which had only just started.

Yes I could have but at that moment there was not a shootout happening, I did not know a shootout was about to happen.

A few seconds after that screenshot I was also blocked in by this other car that drove up to me so I couldn’t use my car and I wasn’t about to start running past cars which could ram into me/run with a gun in the middle of a shootout, I was trying to stay back away from the situation passively.

I did not spectate a shootout as I didn’t know it would happen and I had no time to react as I died a few seconds after it started.

I thought I was totally blocked in, I could have ran and swam across the river behind me but I didn’t think of that with the two second reaction time I was given.
