Mundane, ambient horror is my style. Voices of The Void all the way. If you're giving it a shot, the first two in-game weeks are dull and uninteresting on purpose to give you space and time to get acquainted with the gameplay elements.
I've always hated games that simulate heart attacks. Games that play into your own paranoia and dread sit better with me.
It's not for everyone, but if you do give it a shot then be prepared to spend a bunch of time doing mundane tasks for a while.

除邪(CHUXIE) was lowk a banger to play, u use a gun and shoot ghost
I rate phasmophobia if you play with friends at 3 am
I rate the quarry solo if you like movie games ( but game is quite short and then nothing at all to do after that)
I would say devour is fun and scary, also with friends

yeah did them both in insane mode back in 2023 just got outlast trials on sale much better than phasmo if were talking co-op horror games

ill give it a try when i get some of these current ones complete.... looks decent ambient/psyhcological horrors are the best
