Crashing GPU Memory

This is probably if you're running a config that puts Garry's Mod under DirectX9

Try -dxlevel 90 or 95 in your Garry's Mod launch options

You can also look this up in-game and see what comes up if you type mat_dxlevel in the console and see what value it spits out.

Also worth mentioning that you should update drivers and make sure that your actual dedicated GPU is being used and not your integrated graphics.

2.Disable High-Memory Launch Options:Steam Settings.
In Steam, right-click Garry's Mod > Properties > General. Clear any custom parameters in Launch Options (such as high force-resolution options or -dxlevel overrides).

Verification: Relaunch GMod to ensure default DirectX parameters are applied.
3.Clear the GMod Download Cache:Storage Cleanup.
Close Garry's Mod. Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\ (or your custom install directory). Delete the contents inside the downloads and cache folders.

Verification: Rejoin the server; it will re-download only the necessary assets without retaining bloated cached files.
4.Force DirectX 9 Mode in Launch Options:Fallback step.
In Steam, right-click Garry's Mod > Properties > General. In Launch Options, add -dxlevel 90 or -dxlevel 95, then launch the game.

Verification: Check if the game loads stable. Once successful, you can remove -dxlevel from launch options so it saves the setting without resetting your resolutions on every launch.
