Suggestion Title: Mobile Phone Rehaul
Suggestion Description: Basically I wanted to add the idea of having a massive phone rehaul, I mean the current phone we have is a little outdated with the features it holds. I think it would be a good idea to make a new ui for the phone and have a massive rehaul.
firstly, popup notifications for SMS, Tooter, Phone calls with a button to decline the phone call or answer it having notifications pop up at the top of your screen when you are using the phone would look a lot cleaner and allows players to quickly glance at incoming messages without digging through full menus.
Allow players to buy different phone cases, change wallpapers, select new and old ringtones, also having a Do Not Disturb feature where this would mute any type of phone calls/text messages. I would also recommend a silent feature where it mutes the ringtone (would be useful if you are warranted
)
Speakerphone, Mute and Facetime Feature,
Add a toggle for phone calls to put them on speakerphone, allowing nearby players in proximity voice chat to hear the conversation, Also adding a facetime feature would be goofy while you are being chased or just rolling around the city doing your own thing.
Functional Payphones
Place usable public payphones around the map for a certain price people without a mobile phone (or those trying to make anonymous calls) can call numbers or reach 911 services.
Emergency Services App. -
Direct tracking for requested services (e.g., seeing an estimated arrival time for all services including roadcrew, medic, etc. Also would extremely mesh well with the dispatcher job)
Maybe add a notification for security (Car Alarms, House Alarms)
All of this is just an idea more than anything I understand if some of these things would be a little far fetched. But I'm just trying to throw some new/old ideas out there. If anyone has anything to add it would be pretty cool to hear everyone else's idea.
Why should this be added?:
- Honestly we've had the same phone for a while now it would be useful to have a complete new phone with new features which would keep the server feeling more fresh.
What negatives could this have?:
- Dev time.
