In a similar vein, while looking through the current system I have found a few bugs and flaws that can impact the performance of attachments and fire mode in specific circumstances.

Well, currently it is random to a large degree. So having more of a pattern would be one of the things I would put in the poll to see if that may be desirable.

Can you also look in to burst fire? I swear that fire mode has been broken for several years now, spamming it usually empties your gun really quickly and spawns a lot of ghost shells from the ejection port. I almost never use it anymore due to the clunk.

Biggest annoyance for me is the intensity in the randomized horizontal patterns weapons choose when you begin firing. Siege and Counter Strike for example have patterns that you can largely predict and develop your skill with over time with consistent play. I have so many wishes and criticisms of the current system, but glad you're cooking :)

Please fix the visual recoil on guns like sako and some of the smg's such as the uzi, it looks like shit and should not obscure view the way it does when shooting
StephenPuffs
StephenPuffs
@Creepis As stated, there are some bugs and flaws I will be fixing in the short term.
@sza I addressed the pattern idea in a previous comment.
@Clarky Animations are not my responsibility, but yes, if reworked I would like them all to obscure vision less.

I mean they already kind of exist, just ask your team for them and yall can go from there

I have no idea what that means. Just because we have them doesn't mean it's a quick or simple change. Not only that but I do not do animations apart from very simple ones like the ceiling fan typically speaking. And like cars, we have a ton of guns, so animation changes are not a small task.

It might not be a small task but I feel like a couple of updates are needed multiple guns are unsuable I feel like (IK the devs are not paid and they do there own things) But instead of having the same scar in every gunfight would like more viarity

I’m saying some of the weapons already have it fixed but weren’t entirely made public (ppl got their hands on it when they shouldn’t), they are just unused, pretty much as simple as replacing the concurrent model file in the content pack

I know there’s more attributions to this, but there is quite literally improvements already somewhere

For a long time it was the M4. Like with any other game, the meta changes every now and then. One reason the SCAR is so popular is simply the firerate is fairly low, so it's easier to control compared to others with the way things are currently handled. So we may have to move from more strictly realistic values to ones that benefit gunplay, TBD.

I mean that's like saying you can change the model to be invisible so it doesn't block your view. Just because it's possible doesn't mean it's allowed.
Clarky

That’s just a retarded move, one screen grab and it’s wraps

Im not saying like anything like that but the example of the uzi, if things where fixed and tweaked with it, it would be better people would use it more ect

Point remains the same. So... I'm not sure what your point really is. Not to mention, I don't know if the files you're talking about were distributed by a staff member or not. It'd be easy enough for someone to modify a file to remove certain animations themselves. But as stated, this would result in a ban for a considerable time, if not permanent.
StephenPuffs
StephenPuffs
@SomeUser Very possible. Some may be more possible to change/tweak easily to be viable than others. As some may be more a fault of the model itself and others would be the animations it has. Either way, there are many considerations to be had with how gunplay feels with each one independently.

They were leaked a couple years ago and sort of why we want to see the better ones sooner than later on the subject of adjusting recoil, it's a desperate thing that the community wants more visually pleasing and much better guns, the topic of gun play is just often shut down quick when trying to address such issues with no results
Clarky

A lot with community members want a better M4 again, a more usable Glock 18C on full automatic, a more visually pleasing uzi to shoot and so on, I know it's a lot of work from here but I can applaud you for at least making the first move, I'm incredibly intrigued
