If you press play on the SCAR then quickly M4 you can sort of get them to play at the same time, in which case the SCAR will finish sooner than the M4 due to the swapped fire rates but it is not massively. So I believe that if we unified fire rates between calibers (where applicable) it would not be a bad thing to do and it would benefit a number of them. It seems to be just enough difference that it makes it far less controllable, especially at distance, which is the ideal thing for the rifles to be used at so that's a problem. The TTK for the reduced fire rate I don't think would suffer in any meaningful capacity with the way I primarily see weapons being used while on the live server either.
