Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

I'm not saying anything should change about it. I'm just pointing it out as a potential cause for the blitzkrieg-style tactics used rn. The only way cops are realistically safe is cuffing anyone loitering around. I cuff everyone who holds a phone too, cause they could be relaying messages for...

Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

If a shootout happens at Intersection and the incident stops while you're dead, you still have 10 minutes NLR at the scene. 10 minutes where you can't drive past and go on patrol + 5 minutes dead. If you simply disallow them from rejoining a scene, they can see that the scene has ended, which...

Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

I am opposed to the idea of increasing NLR to cops due to the simple reason that if an incident happens at or around PD/Intersection, you are effectively making a cop useless for 15 minutes or more. That's way too long. I prefer the idea of keeping NLR as it is BUT making cops unable to respond...

Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

I think a cause of this is possibly Flanking.. It's impossible to know who is a flanker or where they will come from. Rather than fighting a battle on two sides, it's preferable to get in, do a blitzkrieg on the crims and then be ready for flankers. But I agree, this is not how it should be, and...

With respect to 3.4, what is the way to measure whether it's worth defending a private apartment you raided in turn of risking police wave.

It's not something that really has a "hard limit" on it, because it depends on a lot of factors, both including the amount of planters you are waiting for, how long they have left and how many cops you are expecting to turn up (eg how many have you already killed?). In general, if you stick...

Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

it's very dependant on the situation at hand. Is the drugs you're about to get out of it worth it compared to the size of a new police wave? But back to the main post lmao

Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

It's kind of a bi-product of cops being allowed to respond multiple times - you're technically risking your freedom. The most relevant rule to this is 3.4: After committing a crime, relevant precautions should be taken to avoid arrest or police attention, such as avoiding public places. It...

Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

Now that I am looking at it, I did point out in the post that it should only be enforced harder IN PUBLIC. So it wouldn't be relevant to a raid of a private property

Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

i would but u dipped last night before the raid xd jokes aside, it's not as much meant for raids on properties in this, sorry if it appeared this way. The primary purpose of this is to make criminals stop gathering guns after a shootout in a public area, like my example, in intersection. I've...

Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

I 100% agree that in a raid, normal raid rules should apply to cops - meaning don't return to the same situation twice. It will encourage officers/TFU to actually back off, end the situation and then try again at a later point when it isn't the same raid. Gives criminals time to recover and...

Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

I'm fine with adding the rule that cops can't go back after they have died. However, I think a potential cause of this is that criminals are sticking around too much to collect "everything". We should enforce the fact that several people are overstaying their welcome in a shootout to collect...

Rule Suggestion (3.5 New Life Rule)

The argument that raiders should get in and out before the NLR timer expires is kind of voided with the current base-rules of the server... It's not usually something you can get done in a hurry if you also have to be worried about cops. And I think Bnej explained it well: There's simply not...

    Ban Dispute (Maia)

You made no effort to look around properly. There were still gunshots being fired. Furthermore, it's pretty common knowledge to not run up to a dead body and take a gun, especially in a bank robbery. Reviewed with @3izu and @Super_

    Warning Dispute (KeiwaM)

You didn't just "Unarm" him. You stood outside with a gun. It even shows in the clip right there you were trying to gunpoint some random sweater right up next to Main St. before turning around and gunpointing this person. Furthermore, you then took him inside again and attempted to mug him.

    Lets talk about Community Managers.

I left the community around the time @Tyla Jai was unbanned and Efan was getting back in to a higher role. This frustrated me so much, mixed with some plpd shit that I literally left the server. From this point and up until last year, I despised perp and everything it was. But after returning...

    Ban Dispute (A1L)

You've already submitted a dispute that was denied. Make a staff complaint if you disagree with the outcome. But in essence: the examples listed in the rule are just that: EXAMPLES. It doesn't mean it is exclusively that.

    Ban Dispute (SNUSMUS)

You misunderstood what the admin said. He didn't say "as long as you don't kill them", he said "as long as you don't negatively impact someone". Damaging cars for no reason is definitely considered negatively impacting someone.

Police Suggestion Make Heavy TFU move slightly slower

I'm with @Bnej that being unable to catch up to civilians would be unhelpful. I think the proposed idea of making TFOs use more stamina is the better solution in my mind.

Mayor - taxes and law 4.4

If it was strictly the case, there would be absolutely no reason why the taxes should even be allowed that high - Why would the server have a feature that can only be used as a rulebreak? So while I agree with you that it CAN force economic slowdown, it's not something I would consider against...

Mayor - taxes and law 4.4

Keeping taxes high as a "punishment" is not in the best interest of the city - that is just in the interest of your own pride as judge, jury and executioner. In that case, PD is entirely within it's right to arrest the mayor as long as the city itself is doing okay with funds and economy.
