V6 is optimized, but also much more detailed. So it is more performance intensive. Given your spec I assume you're on a laptop, so your upgrade path is limited. But if you can install more ram, you definietly should. V6 will run within 4gb of ram but it doesn't leave much room for the rest...

Not actually possible given that our doors are map entities. The sound they make is baked into the map based on the doors qc parameters. Changing the sound would involve replacing the door entirely through code.

Seasons are tied to the in game date, but snow will not turn on unless its December (where seasons will be turned off and it will remain snowy for the entire month)

V6 has been balenced with the current damage values in mind, so there are no immediate plans to change them.
